Question.. has anyone had problems with their fuel cap not staying tight? My "Check Fuel Cap" light came on and I went to check it and it was completely loose. So, I tightened it and went on with my day.. Then I went to town and the light was on again.. It was loose again.. This has been an ongoing issue. Just wondering if anyone else has had or heard of this problem.

Nope, never heard of that. Does it click when you tighten it down?

I have had no issues with my fuel cap (or anything really).

same here...no issues with the fuel cap, you probably need a new one, but that's just a guess lol.

It still has the rear brakes, and steering wheel. The front bumper was trashed though.

Was that one a red zx5 with EAP? couple busted out windows and a lot of rain damage inside? I saw this one at a shop off front street. the guy needed the drivetrain to swap in his and wouldn't sell the rest of it (had recaro's and eap wheels). needless to say I wasn't too happy to see a set of recaro seats sitting in the rain getting destroyed.

Yea.. It clicks and tightens like normal, but then just comes loose when I drive.

I think that's the one. Red zx5, no seats, and I think all the windows were busted. I didn't see the wheels there, but I'm going back to look again and finish getting stuff. That really sucks that he let the seats get destroyed!

No idea then. Did you post the issue in the technical chat section? You would probably get better feedback there.

Well, after 2 whole days of the light being on, it finally went off. We'll see for how long.

U need a new cap. They are less than $20 and any auto store should have them. :)
