^FYI, yes they are.
If you look there are a few things that started on ebay that Summit and Jegs sell, and vise-verse.

I mean just look at the things they 'make' --> http://www.tunedbymatrix.com/index.php

These things come out of china as generic no name parts... Companies around the world buy lots of hundreds and name them what ever they want... Colors, styles, names may vary but they are all the same... Even prices are similar

Kinda figured there was a catch. Think i'll just buy a cone filter and put it on the end instead

I wouldnt really deter from the CAI just because of an unknown brand name. Usually CAI all function the same way, just the filter is what really helps get results. Just make sure you dont hit any puddles well big puddles

Oh if i get one i'm just getting a short ram. Not a snorkel. Don't care for them much on a DD. But the reason i think i'd deter is just cause i don't wanna buy anything made in china since we owe them so much and they are becoming the world super power

then that means youll sleep on the streets? (of america) ride a motorless goped?(made in california) and prob be naked the rest of your life...? pretty close minded and pointless way of thinking... and if you own and iphone (made in china) please look at the back and post here what it says...? i guess this also applies to 95% of technology/electronics we use in the good u s of a or the world?

good job buddy!

Believe it or not.. Ford only has one plant in china. For market sales in china. I dont own an iphone. I usually buy used phones cause i'm in college. Lumber used in all our houses is not from china, nor processed there. So don't know while i'll have to sleep on the streets. The bolts and re bar is made in america. Not saying I dont own anything made in china. But i do try to avoid it. And YOU can live in a house and have a vehicle that isn't made or has parts from china. Technology assumed to come from china? Maybe some, but not all by any means. Apple doens't really impress me anyways. Itunes crashes more than my web browser and have had ipods freak out on me. Guess they were from china. But when i won it for free. WHy not? I would say 95% is an overshot. Maybe a bit over half. But not the majority. China doesn't make everything. In my opinion, (which you just stated yours) assuming China makes everything is an understatement. Chinese wages are on the rise. Thus Higher wages+ shipping is starting to make outsourcing less appealing to companies. Before Clinton was in office, outsourcing was NOT an issue. So we were much less dependent on China. Now we're starting to cut ties. And if we all don't make an effort. It wont happen. So, if you just assume everything is made in china and buy the cheap stuff. Then yes, it will be china 9/10 times. But also you're taking a risk of whatever it is having shotty quality.
