just had the car metered, at an idle i did a 146. that is with out the big 3 and with a horrible prefab box that flaps around and is barely even held together.

after i build my box and do the big 3 i will test it agian but im expecting to do around 147 in the end. if i do better i will be extrememly happy specialy for only 2 12"s on a 1900rms rated amp.

8 gauge for speakers wire but right now its only 12 gauge.. thanks for reminding me that i need more 8 gauge... im realy hoping for a 147 after the big 3 and box build. of course that will be at 1800-2000rpms and not an idle so it would give me a nice difference in voltage. at an idle it drops to 11.3 but at about 2k rpms it drops to 12.4 and that without big 3

the prefab is tuned to 38hz and i did that scare at 51hz. i might tune my box to about 43-45

update: going with a 45hz tone because 1 more db, 2 will still sound good. 3 ill just save money and build a box i can swap out if i realy want to get low.

yeah i hoping for more then 1db specaily since this prefab box is literaly falling apart. the baffle is hardly even held on now, both side of the baffle slap up against the box. then the big 3 should make a nice difference since im choking the 250 amp alt with the stock wires.

i wish i could get down there but i aint got the money to travel (spent it on the car). first comp i know of so far up here is june 3. right at my hometown shop that i get my stuff from. rockford reps are suppose to be there. my gaol is to impress them, after all they have no sponsorord cars up here in alaska.
