I wouldn't think that any ST classes would allow R-Comps. Same here in our region, since we host Nationals as well, we follow those same rules.

Well I had my first event today. Lets just say that I love the new tires! I am shocked by how much grip they have. I need to relearn how to drive again lol. I took first in my class.

yep, running R-comps definitely changes the game. i bet you haven't even reached the limit of the tires yet.
one thing you want to be careful of.. is the silent spin. R-comps, unlike street tires, they don't let you know when they are going to give! you will think you have plenty of grip (tires not screaming at you) then all of a sudden BOOM! you pull a 360.

I was no where close to the limit. On my last run I beat my preivous time by 1.1 seconds. I could have gone a whole lot faster. I got a couple tips from a couple experienced r-comp people at my event. Can't wait for the next event.
