Between the grille and radiator, they close at higher speeds to prevent air coming into the engine compartment and improve aerodynamics.

I wonder if that's why my car with a build date if 3/19/12 has a 1mpg higher rating on the window sticker than some cars on the lot???? Still not 40 MPG hwy like the SFE, but 39mpg.

I knew the SEL's have gone up one to 28/38 recently but I didn't see a change in the SE's. What trim are you getting?

It's an SEL and I think you are right about 28/38 from 27/37. Wishful thinking on the 39 I guess......

Ha! Congrats on the upgrade. I'll be getting 1mpg less with my old SEL.
