yeah you are right, if it is only 180 ft/lbs we are going to get to that limit without a turbo, already getting to 143 with just an intake and an exhaust probably adds another 8-10 ft lbs.

If you do nitrous make sure you use a wet kit so you can control the amount of fuel and nitrous that is injected into the engine. Also start off with a higher fuel jet and use a wideband to get the nitrous and fuel pills right. If anyone wants more info make sure to check out the F/I portion of the forum or PM me :D

The photos on Roush's site show manual shifter and clutch pedal. They also list one of the parts as an aluminum 5 speed shift knob.

The one thing I want right now is that dead pedal.

Will the DCT handle a Turbo

I was hoping, after my warranty is up, to kinda make my Focus a toy to work on....now I know it's an auto and I know it's not a racecar and never will be, but dammit I want to get as close as possible.

I also would have waited and gotten an ST, but I can't drive manual (again, I know I know, I'm not a man unless I can drive manual...).

Anyways, I've read that unless the compression ratio can be reduced this isn't an option. My question is, could the DCT transmission even handle a turbo.

Our dry clutch isn't rated to handle much, 250hp and under if I remember relatively correctly. Someone will have the actual stats on here soon, I'm sure.

Just blow-up your current powerplant and then drop-in the Ecoboost and a wet-sump. Voila! Sleeper!
