The only TEc set I ever got was while at the Mall of America, grandpa bought me the motor trike, four cylinder with drive shaft...built it once and never took it apart...than was 17 years ago...Still wish I had the time for more models..

LOVE that locomotive mega blocks set...sweet.

I really enjoyed the Model Team collections.

In 1986 (4 yrs old) I built that truck with Red and Blue stripes. I'm going to buy it again one day.

Legos!!!

When I was younger, my brother and I built TECHNIC legos all the time. I had a bunk bed and I slept up top and the whole bottom was built into a tray so none of the pieces fell off and thats where we would create our own masterpieces. When we got a new kit, it would be built once the way its suppose to be built. Then it would get mixed into the rest on the bottom bunk! Now all of our legos were passed to my 2 girls and they love them just as much as I did. I even build with them at times. Later.

LoL I always wanted that truck and finally I got one.
I bought it on eBay for $55. Complete with instructions but no box.
I'm waiting for the package :D
I also have a Yellow jeep and two Formula 1 cars from Model Team series.

That's nice. I can't imagine to throw my legos away. I will save them for my children as well :)

Couple years ago a friend of mine that makes his living buying and selling vintage toys scored a crapload of early 80's grey "space" legos. (my favorite variety)

I couldn't believe how much money he made selling the pieces in small lots on ebay, you would think he was parting out real space shuttles.

"non-smoker" legos go for a premium, I guess the ABS plastic really soaks up the stink.

Pretty big LEGO fan here! Haven't had much time to build or much money to buy lately, but I read The Brothers Brick every day.

Most recent set I bought was Catwoman Catcycle City Chase. I have almost all of the first Batman series, and couldn't resist the jetpack or the charming little city details (Newspaper stand! Mailbox!)

I was disappointed to find that no one online seems to have made a ZX3 out of LEGO. One of us will have to rectify that :)
