Any chance you can give an outline of menu selections and submenu selections (however it works with IDS) to turn on DRL and allow fog lights when highbeams are on? This way the rest of us can print it off and give it to the monkeys hired at the other dealerships around the country to maybe get this stuff done.

Please?

I just got an idea. You have a canadian focus? bought in Canada? If you are ok with it, could you pm me your vin? I would like to check the build sheet and see if your BCM is the same part # my focus was built with.

Sorry about asking, but you seem to be the only person who knows how to do this. If I were local I'd take video or photos over your shoulder and do the posting for you. Unfortunately, I'm not local and PA is a long way away.

I'm just curious, did you see anything about changing window behavior in there? I'm thinking 2 different things would be awesome:

Enable 1-touch up/down on an SE

Enable Global Window Opening/Closing (the thing Europe has where you press the keyfob's lock button to close all windows, and press unlock to open them).

I'm at the dealer right now to have an alignment issue looked at, but I've also asked them to take another crack at trying to activate the DRL. The service rep seemed to be very skeptical about even trying it again. Saying things like, "a lot of those car sites have a lot of disinformation and people who aren't exactly truthful..." I don't know, I wonder if it's some sort of liability issue or something like that or some directive from Ford which causes this resistance towards activating them in the first place. We'll see, but I'm not too optimistic that they'll go the extra mile to investigate this.
