No Problem! The PCV hose doesn't cost very much..Had to replace ours on the white car. I think it was like $6 or $7 from Ford. Now that all the obvious stuff has been fixed we'll have to meet up again to see if we can figure out the other problems. Did you ever get a tire? lol

It's still surging, but idle comes down again when i stop completley? Weird. And it has very low power. No burning smell anymore, but the power is like geo metro level. Misfire maybe? Compression was good so the scary stuff is ruled out. I took it to the my friends shop today in Silver Spring. I'll let em handle it, but I really owe yall for your help!!

Hmm..We'd have to take a ride in it or something to see what you're talking about. So many things could be causing loss of power..We just spent a week trying to figure out what was wrong with the white car. Turns out it needs a fuel pump..bummer!!

I was thinking that or coilpack. Whatever it is, I'll let them take care of it. Sick of driving my dad's truck, gas prices are killing me in this thing.
UPDATE from shop - car was apperently smashed up and paid for out of pocket. Rear subframe is messed up. Front swaybar links to be replaced. He is testing the fuel pressure and says the timing belt cover was removed forcefully...so someone might've done a driveway timing belt change and messed it up. It is driving very slow. Hatch is misaligned.

Hmmm that makes me wonder if the cams were timed properly and the VCT was set correctly. I thought if it was not set correctly, it wouldn't run at all, but I can't remember. I'm sorry this happened to you.

UPDATE-
it was the coil pack!!!!! Car is running and fast. He was concerned about idle (500rpms). Rear subframe is bent to hell to. Oh and previous owner actually pulled out the CEL lights and another light from the dash?

Drove it to work today. Drives awesome. Sweet jeebus this thing is a rocket compared to my ZX3. Will have to replace front struts, front wheel bearings, front swaybar links, unbend/replace rear subframe. Now have a small crack in windshield, either gonna have it done or get the kit. Gotta get it inspected, tomorrows the deadline.
