Thanks
You can put in whatever 'real name' you'd like by modifying your profile. If you are using an OpenID authenticator, the fields will be filled in by that provider automatically, but you can change them locally on the site. There's no way I can link your focusfanatic.com profile to my site, though. I could add a nickname field and display that instead, but I don't think it's worth the effort.

I don't think that should be surprising :)

Can you at least hide our email addresses?

Yes, that's an option in your profile as well. Just click on My Account and check 'hide my email address'. I think I can make them hidden by default as well. Don't know if it will apply to existing accounts.

Update: I set email address to hidden on all existing accounts.

We have collected a total of 29 bugs in MFT 3.0.2 so far! Thanks to everyone for contributing their bugs. This already has provided some useful insight (to me anyway):

1. MFT 3.0.2 is definitely not bug free
2. I felt like the AM/FM radio is the buggiest part of the new version, but bugs are actually fairly evenly distributed across components
3. MFT 3.0.2 is more stable than 2.11. There are no bugs filed about MFT crashing yet! Now, I've seen one indication in the sticky thread of having some crashes, so keep in mind it may be under-reported here.
4. MFT 3.0.2 bugs are less severe than in 2.11. Out of the 20+ bugs I had recorded for 2.11, I had a large number marked as severe. In 3.0.2, only 9 bugs are marked as moderate or severe. Several bugs are graphical glitches or typos.

A number of bugs have included photos which make it easy to confirm the bug. Others I have been able to confirm myself. I am not moving bugs into the confirmed state until I'm sure it's replicable or more than one person has seen it.

So, if you can, please add a +1 comment to any bug that you are also seeing. I hope to add voting still, but I don't know when I'll get to it.

If anyone has any thoughts on getting Ford to acknowledge these bugs, feel free to suggest!

Simple, I'd ask them. "If I create a bug tracking database to gather and manage user complaints in a central location, will you use it?"

As a highly experienced Network Validation Engineer for a large semi-conductor manufacturer who makes his living doing QA I can definitely help with this. But if Ford doesn't want to play ball then it's all in vain.

Btw, I'd also like to see a feature request database.

Keep making noise about it. We know Ford monitors forums, so post elsewhere about it as well. I sent my regional Rep a link, and he actually thanked me for trying to help.

I concur that 3.0.2 is more stable (at least on my car). I'd classify 2.11 as an Alpha release - cool features but unstable. 3.0.2 is more of a Beta release - generally stable with a few bugs.
Can't wait to the Release Candidate comes out...

Just updated one of my issues (#38) around using an iPod and the shuffle feature in MFT. I disconnected the iPod to add some new music to it. While it was disconnected, I made sure to select shuffle in the options on the iPod itself. After I reconnected it to the car, it seems to be working as expected. I'll update the issue if I see it start happening again.

Hey everyone!

Thanks for sharing your feedback. Although I may not respond to every post, I do read through these and report concerns to our engineering team.
