Yep, just keep the oem bulbs that you took out and put them in the trunk or garage for spares. Very simple.

I'm sorry but which Silverstar ZXE's did you use for the H1? I only see Silverstar ZXE H11s on Amazon.

i don't think think they make H1's. i had the same problem. i replaced the low beams & fogs with the ZXE's. the highs are stock for now. might get PIAAs for the highs down the road.

If these Silverstars are anything like the Ultras I run in my Nissan Versa, they won't last that year. Or worse, 13 months!!! I am replacing them seems like everytime I turn around. I keep telling myself I am done with them but they are so much better than the crappy stock ones I keep on buying them!!

I only tinted the rear passenger windows and rear hatch window so it is all legal in CA. Had it done at a local Sunmaster shop...

From the pictures if you examine the distant areas in the photos, the OEM's illuminate further. The ZXE's are certainly whiter and are definitely more aesthetically pleasing, but again do appear to decrease distant luminosity slightly. Then again, due to possible shutter and aperture differences, the photos may not give clear indication one way or the other.

I swapped out for the silverstar ultras, don't thik it made much difference really, I took before, during and after photos with the same shutter settings and I'll post them soon, but prepare to be underwhelmed.

Just untwist the foglight and then pull it towards you, unclip the bulb and put your new one in, then slide down and twist it back into place. The headlights are the same but you can do them at eye level since you have the housings off.

Very very simple. Thanks for the interest. I am loving them more and more as I drive more.

Hey guys, I've actually kind of typed one up real quick. It's pretty easy to remove and install the bulb change.

Here is my post
