It seems to happen when in 3D mode, the system will forget it's in NAV and you have to specify NAVIGATION prior to entering NAV commands. It's a bug in ver 3.

For the Default. I tried popping the nav card. That worked in ver 2. Doesn't work for me in 3. I turn off the car for 30 minutes and it worked when I started up again.

I used to get every now and then as well and simple remove and replace always fixed it. Haven't seen yet but I only got my new Nav card 7 days ago.

Thanks for the pics! It's helpful to see the direct screen comparisons. I kinda like the new interface better than the old. Less cluttered, more visual. It looks more polished. Just my opinion....

I would definitely clear any voice tags before the upgrade. That worked for me.

Have to say, the update is really nice. I was happy with the previous versions despite it's quirks, when it worked it worked well. And it worked most of the time. Now it's just awesome with less quirks.

Not sure, but if I had to guess, Ford released the image befor the update was finalized.

Beat me to the punch on that one. Full wallpaper screen is no longer possible. Odd since it was in these pre-release photos. I think the radio-entertainment screen is a bit different on the actual release also.

Looking at these screens side by side, most do look equal or better for the most part. But, They didn't show a music player screen (iPod, USB stick) because that screen definitely looks worse with it's shrunk or missing elements and ginormous ff/rew buttons.
