ok, yeah the coilover install is expensive, i might take you up on that, though I am not sure i would let you do it for free. the other things are reasonably priced, though I can do the intake probably, the exhaust is the only other tougher thing, and their price for that was cheaper than the other installs that i have seen. Though I want to get the tip ceramic coated black first.

I am waiting for the fswerks stealth exhaust to come out and the steeda intake.

Sweet ride. Very Clean. I just put the same SVT Wheels on mine yesterday- Looks so much better than the 14" steelies I was rolling with. Of course I guess anything looks better than steelies. Is there any kind of Focus meets around that you know of or do you attend anything?

Your best bet for Oklahoma is gonna be to find other enthusiasts who can help you out. If you absolutely need a shop to install/tune/etc I would recommend going to Texas. Your chances of finding quality work are much higher down there.

Is there any kind of Focus meets around that you know of or do you attend anything?

Well, we just had a local gathering and went to the Darryl Starbird car show and then ate at Twin Peaks few weeks ago.



I was the only one from the Tulsa area that could make it (outside of one of my VW friends) and the other 3 are from the OKC area.

And it's not very active at the moment as there are three of us that are saving up for the trip to Carlisle, PA in June for this:

We even have a caravan coming from California through Tulsa on the way out there. There will be at least 3 Focuses from the west coast staying at my house at the end of May on the trip out there. Add in the 3 from OK that are going, and that's a nice 6 pack of Focuses leaving Tulsa for a drive to PA for a bad ass car show!

My apologies about the wheels. I haven't really seen your car up close (personally i wouldn't feel comfortable seeing somebody doing a walkaround of my car while i am inside working)- Just saw it from driving by on 81st so from a distance i figured they were the SVT 6 spokes.

As far as the meet goes I will probably pass on the caravan this year but would probably be interested next year if you guys do it again. My little SPI would be panting so hard trying to keep up with everyone. lol. But hopefully I will have my Turbo Zetec build finished and installed by next year and will be able to tag along. But any shows or meets you have locally I would love to come tag along. I think I joined/liked the FB page a while back. Not sure- but I will check when I get home.

Your SPI would be fine. My car has over 200K miles on it and I'm making the drive again and am not worried at all.

I'm actually meeting my friend in Tulsa a week from this Sunday to do some work on my car. He lives close to 71st and Memorial. If he is cool with it, I can get you directions there so you can meet up. I'll try and get one of my other Tulsa focus friends to come over too.

Ya it could probably handle it alright- I only have just over 75,xxx but who knows when that valve seat might give on me.

You can't drive your car always worrying about "what might happen". I still have the factory clutch a well as factory front wheel bearings in my car, but I am still driving it long distances on trips.
