I've driven in Houston, Dallas, San Antonio and Austin ... they all have their times. But if you know your way around. You won't run into as much traffic.

Now, let's talk about San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego ... you think traffic is bad.

I drove from San Bernadino (where my aunt lives) to Malibu once ... took me 2 hours! For Houston, that's like driving from Pasadena to Katy. Only an hour in Houston.

And let me tell you guys about the Philippines. Manila, specifically. When I rode there many many years ago (I wouldnt even try driving) ... it was a freaking madhouse. There are no yellow signs, there are no consistent traffic lights and people walk in the middle of street as if it was a rally event. And the drivers drive as they are in one.

And it's sad when walking gets you to your destination that is 10 miles down the road fast than taking wheels.

So ... I am happy with Houston traffic, sure it stinks at times ... but then I remember the worst types of traffic I have been in ... and it no longer bothers me.

yeah, traffic sucks. but its easy to get by...

stay away from San Antonio because their freeways are [retard]'ed
Dallas just plain sucks traffic wise... no offense to our D-town homies.

since Houston is such a melting pot, it takes drivers from all over the place and throws them on congested roads.

and with accidents happening at late hours of the night, well sadly, those are usually alcohol related (either the driver him/herself or another vehicle on the road)... i don't know how many times i have seen people GOING THE WRONG WAY ON A FREEWAY.... FOR MILES!!!

best advice i can give, thread that needle, bob and weave, and turn it into a little game.

For me the neighboorhood traffic is the worst.
Seems that the stop signs for a cross street are a suggestion now, with people chosing to ignore the suggestion.

People cutting you off at whatever speed, no turn signal, no courtesy at all.

STUPID accidents! That even a child with just a few logged hours driving a power wheel couldn’t replicate and would probably drive a motor vehicle better than 90% of the people on these roads.

At least 2-3 times a week I need to take detours (+15mins) when i get off work (130am) because the exit I use for 59 is closed because some moron decided to crash and trash all lanes with parts, debris or whatever reason.

a space of 100ft in between the car in front when traffic is slow, talking on the phone, texting or just plain and simply not giving a fk about other people in a hurry or actually wanting to get somewhere on time

Blocking intersections when the traffic light switched to red

People slowing down to 20mph in a 60 mph because it’s raining just a bit and the road is a little wet?

Im pretty sure this is everywhere but here its pretty bad IMO

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just had to rant, sorry

/ RANT!
People blocking intersections when light is red!!!!!!!! San Felipe and 610 i suppose that is what ur talking about.... I cant stand it! I flip them off every morning and they nodd their head like they dont know what the heck they r doing. Smh.

Ur car is loud! My car is fast!

Use the bonus lanes! You know, the one on the other side of the solid yellow or white lines. Sorry but I like to drive fast...
