Thanks! The first place I went to used Llumar High Performance, and I asked if it was metallic and he said indeed it was, so I asked if he could guarantee all of my electronics would still work and he said no guarantee, so I left. I can't chance any of my techie goodies not working due to metallic tint!

I have Llumar tint on my car, and I've never had any issues with reception (aside from the typical dead zones I've always dealt with).

It's really nice tint.

+2 on Lumar I have their lifetime warranty tint also. Best tint out of all my cars. $180 for 15% which I was told is closer to an actual 20% in most brands.

Is it specifically Llumar "High Performance"? That's the one I'm talking about. Llumar makes several types in metallic as well as hybrid non-metallic, but the one I'm specifically concerned with here is the "High Performance" its usually ~$150 installed, maybe less.

If you are worried about interference with signals, just go with Suntek Carbon, or if you want to spend the extra money for the nano films, Suntek Carbon XP or what I have Llumar CTX.

I don't have any photos yet, but I'll get some since the rain is gone now.

I have the Lluma premiere ceramic series; 5% on back doors/hatch/sunroof, and 35% on the front doors. I'm waiting for my Doctor to write a letter (due to hyper sensitivity to light) which allows me to put 5% on the front doors and by pass the Texas law regarding tint.

I'm relieved to see all the positive comments about the LLumar tint. I'll be getting the high performance series, which they claim is "extremely well suited" for signal enabling. The rough quote is about $250. I know that sounds high, bu that's my best bet within 100 miles.

I hope they quoted you Llumar CTX and not the metalllic stuff.... I paid 260$ for CTX which is guaranteed to not interfere with signals and I called about 15 different shops and 260$ was the cheapest. The high performance metallic(Llumar ATR) shouldnt run more than 180$.
