Actually, he's right! It didn't come up when I went to syncmyride.com here at work on Firefox, but it came up when I used IE, weird. I can't download it here but will definitely do it when I get home!

Nice! I find it really interesting that Ford went from "It will be available eventually at smr for download, but we dont know when" to making it available now.

I saw valet mode yesterday when I was playing around. It was under the upper right info tab under the sub menu applications. 911 and valet mode were listed though I didn't explore.

It will ask you if you have NAV or not - if you do there's a "Contact Us" button that tells you this when clicked:

The Performance Upgrade was mailed to owners on March 8, 2012. If you have not received the upgrade, contact us:

800-392-4040

Hours of Operation: Monday – Saturday
8:30 AM -10:00 PM ET
Sunday 11:30 AM -10:00 PM ET

So apparently they mailed them today!

Or you can say No and download the update.

Once someone downloads the update from the SyncMyRide website, could you do a comparison between that and the file that we have been using? There should not be any difference, and once you upgrade you should be on Gen2-3.0.2

Probably because they were pretty much forced to since there were ripped copies going around already. They were probably afraid of a bad copy spreading and bricking a bunch of APIM's which would cost them alot of money in dealership labor and parts warranty.
