ok so after my car randomly dieing every time i pushed the clutch in i decided tonight to ditch the chip. With that i also replaced plugs/wires back to factory replacement as well. car now runs very smooth except im having another strange issue. When i push the clutch in the RPMS dont drop. the tranny disengages but the rpms stay high enough that when i change gears its not like the rpms have droped at all. at one point tonight i took first gear to about 4grand pushed clutch in, tranny disengaged, and it was like i had cruise control. i was coasting but rpms stayed at 4grand untill i coasted down about 5-10mph then they finally dropped slowly. im not sure if this is related to the chip or if its something completely different just so happened at the same time. here is a video of sorta what its doing.

push in clutch, motor rpms raise, then slowly drop. Any ideas!!!!! i drive 90 miles a day so as i need to figure this out. thanks

That's pretty common. Nothing to worry about. There's actually a thread about it in the Duratec section I think.

A proper tune will cure all that , you might also want to check for a Vac leak , that would cause the rpm to hang
