Oil for a Turbo SVT

Hard to say , what oil are you running , what turbo kit , what tuning , how much boost , what HP etc

I ran a 5-20. The turbo is a t3 ball bearing. Your tuning. I run 13 psi and bump up to 20 every once in a while. It dynod at 320 hp

Nowadays, oil is designed to function in both summer and winter, because some genius fluid engineer at some point figured out that seasons are things that just keep happening. That's actually why modern oil grades are hyphenated, such as 5W-30. That means it works as both 5 and 30 grade oil (the "W" stands for "winter" and not "weight," as is popularly believed)

Why are you running a stock wt oil when your now at 3.5 times the HP and 5 times the load , you need a thicker oil in my opinion and may be part of your turbo problems

Is your car running lean ? over 10.8 a/f ? are you tuned to 20psi ?
