That's why I am here to find out what the Users here would recommend and to find out what is working/not working for everyone else.
That kit is going to give you a lot of head aches, think this thread should be in the ecoboost section and start by reading a lot of guidelines here.

I don't have a turbo system so I am not the best person to ask, but the reason I don't is because of the cost of quality components.

Number one question - who makes the turbo? If it isn't made by one of the large companies that supplies the OEs - Garrett, IHI, KKK, Mitsubishi - don't bother. A good turbo costs close to $1000. If it doesn't cost that much, it is knockoff and not worth the trouble, IMO.

The same goes for the rest of the parts. There is a ton of lookalike garbage on the market. With boost, when things go wrong, they tend to go really wrong. Don't cut corners.

Here is a good place to start

http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/showthread.php?t=226552

And I can poing you in good direction for the other parts needed and your tuning , I also can sell you a built short block or complete engine

You wont ware out the stock head or cams and they will do fine like I said to reach 300-320

Thanks- This is exactly the kind of info I am looking for. Can you PM me some info on the detals/pricing of the short block. Like I said i can build all of this myself but as I am new to tuning Foci I don't want to learn from trial and error and blow stuff up and have to tear everything down a bunch of times to get it right. I would rather learn from others mistakes and get this thing built and on the road.

Also- as you can tell I am new to this Forum. Are you the "Tom" that iroc34 was refering to when doing his tuning on his build in the link you previously attached?

Yes I am the "Tom" that tuned iroc34

I charge 2250.00 for a complete short block and they are built correctly and 3550.00 for a complete , both are with an exchange or building yours

Tom
