Not a huge update but I replaced the allen bolts on my cam gears for hex bolts and polished away the massive purple.

I also split my gearbox (3rd synchro was bad when I bought it) I think I am going to change 1st and 2nd gear to the RS spec if I can as they were taller gears.

So in my opinion it would be easier to fly to Europe, try and find an RS for sale and ship it over here. LOL But that wouldnt be any fun. Dont get me wrong, Im not hating. Even though I think this is a lot of time, energy and money being spent on just a Focus (as opposed to a muscle car...) - You will have an amazing car when done. I look forward to the completion and all the steps in between. As a former bodyman at a restoration shop, I can appreciate the work you are doing. You seem to have a vast knowledge of mechanics also, and you seem to be doing an amazing job. Keep up the good work!

that's the issue, you cant really have a focus rs imported here. Unless you strip it down and blah blah make it legal blah blah blah. it's been brought up on the site too many times lol we just gave up. lol

A rare focus

I'm not into muscle cars and like I said before if I wasn't in the right place at the right time this car would not exist and I would be building up a 964 911 instead.

If I would have had the money at the time I might even have been driving around in a Lancia integrale evo right now as I passed on one for sale in New York. I heard they are a pain to keep running though.

The people who know what is will appreciate it, the people who don't will wonder
