I just got done doing the conversion to the coupe bumper and yes you need the fog light brackets. They are around $50-$60 each from ford, and are required to mount the fog lights in the bumper. I work for Ford and had to special order then from our parts department as most dealerships do NOT carry them normally. Also had to special order in the center grille for it as we didn't carry that either.

As for your other question, my car didn't come with fog lights either but you can get them off Ebay for pretty cheap. The instructions are a complete joke that come with them and you need to get the Ford lights if you want them to fit correctly into the coupe bumper. I made a how to guide for the installation of the fog lights into a car with no built in wires. Click ME!

In '08 only the SE and the SES came with that awful chrome vent. The name on the package for the vent is Louvre by the way (weird name and I work in the parts dept for Ford), I always cringe when we sell one, I hate them so much.

Thanks alot for all the help!I just got the bumper in the mail today while I was at work.Now I just have to get the foglights and the grill.Your post is old,but I haven't found anyone else that has posted step by step instructions on how to make the bumper swap.I plan on taking alot of pictures.If I can find out how to post pictures using the URL,I should be posting soon.
