I've only had mine a little over 2 weeks and it only has 700 miles on it but I've already got it up to 27 mpg, started out at 26.2 when I first took delivery. I'm thinking I might get it up a little higher, but then again I'm not really driving for gas saving. Coming from 17, I'm ecstatic with 27!

I drive my Focus like an old woman. Slow starts and gradual stops. I have 23K on it since June. I do mostly highway driving. I stay up with traffic on the highway. A cop once told me a tip for not getting a speeding ticket "Only pass as many cars on the highway as the amount of cars that pass you" Meaning don't poke along in the slow lane but don't have the hammer down in the fast lane either. So having said that on the highway I would say I average 10mph above the speed limit. I average a combined 34 mpg's. My total commute is 95 miles per day. 85 on the highway and 10 on local streets. Add to that a couple of local miles at lunch.

I am very happy with the MPG's I am getting.

I threw on my winter tires on the stock wheels and with winter fuel I'm down to ~34mpg. When the weather gets into the 30's and I get get my mpg's will go back up to the 36 range until it gets cold again.

Ah ... good point ... I am running Blizzaks currently ... I have to imagine the MPG's will go up with my PS3's when I put them on in the spring.

I am averaging low to mid 30's on the highway. But I expect I am getting less with the Cooper Artic Claws I am running all the way around, and the winter months.
