So true, I bought a Rockauto brand valve cover gasket and the damn thing leaks and seeps. I want to say it's more plastic than a rubber gasket like the stock one. Heck its grey and not even black like every other gasket I've seen. So for me trying to save a few bucks just ends up giving me extra work, and even more money since I will have to buy another gasket later down the road...again.

hell yeah. i remember when i had my old 88 Mustang GT, i had to replace the damn starter 4 times because the one they were selling me wasn't OEM and kept screwing me over. It got so bad that the starter knocked out most of the flywheel's teeth, so eventually the flywheel got so screwed that the starter would just spin freely. Had to drop the transmission twice to change the flywheel ring twice

Yup that's how it goes, try to save money only to cause way more problems than it was worth. And holy cow twice!

What time and where that day is the Houston group meeting to caravan? I am starting to plan ahead so I can maki it. If I go my 4 year old son will be coming with me. Is this okay. (I know the Austin women will remember him). Also, If I go I will be staying the night. All day driving with a 4 year old is NOT fun.
