there not stock sti's and evo's... so thats why i said 300-350whp.. but the main thing is driveablity.. i wont drive it all the time but when i do id like to just drive it and not worry about it..

building a car is cheaper then my atv believe it or not..

ive been reading about the 2.5 you've been building tom.. im really interested in how that turns out... my saleen would be good test car for it

Tom,

Is it possible to install the 2.3 crank on the 2.5 block with 89mm pistons?? We could use the 2.3 rods (if the journals are the same) and 2.3 overbore pistons.

We could have a 89x93 engine, maybe a 2.4 liter.

that would work out to be just over 2.3, as the "2.3" from the factory is really a 2.261

Computed Engine Displacement (CID) is 141
Computed Engine Displacement (Litres) is 2.3
Computed Engine Displacement (CC) is 2314.3

Induction will limit the rpms, take the c.i.d. All this crazy stuff with limiting stroke to gain power is just that........plain crazy. The 2.5 stroke is only 100mm(3.937in) stroke, which in reality is still pretty short.
