Just clarifying, we are meeting on Saturday the 11th correct. I got a little confused with the whole dragstrip idea being on a Sunday. Weather forecast looks great for saturday!

Yes it is Saturday, I forgot to mention that since we won't be going to the dragstrip.

Plan for the day:

1) Meet at 11 A.M. at the BP gas station right off of exit 82 off I-77 in Jonesville.

2) Once everyone gets there head out to get a bite to eat. Will probably decide what that day. We'll probably wait until about 11:30-12:00 P.M. for everyone to get there.

3) After we eat head out for Boone. We'll be taking I-77 to U.S. 421 straight up to Boone. Might decide to take a different route when we meet up, not sure.

4) Once we reach Boone we'll just ride around and hang out while taking some pics in the mean time. Just have a good time

If y'all want some real twisties, go up to the Tail of the Dragon outside of Bryson City. Went there once with a VW group and it was amazing, plus there's a great photo op at Fontana Dam. I'm not supercharged or anything so no real fun to be had but still loving my new FoFo! Have fun!

Thanks for the suggestion. I think that would be great for one of the later cruises but seeing as there might be snow still up there I'm not sure how well our cars could handle those curves with a slick road. Who knows we might have to check it out though if it looks like the roads are good once we get up there...
