Turbo or new focus?

I hear what your saying, viper, but the cost of the new focus is ridiculous though.

Ms3 gets 244whp and weighs about 700 ( probably more) pounds heavier vs ricks 2.3 hatch that will be putting down the same whp with the FSWERKS stage 2 (stock block) and 363whp with a built one

ms3 only weights 300lb over a stock svtf.its surprisingly light. It also has a stiffer frame, and a LSD. Its also street legal.


Dont get me wrong, you know i love the focus, but from a realistic standpoint, spending that kind of unrecoverable money on an older car just doesnt make sense to me.

Thanks for the input viper in a sense your right but on the other hand I won't have any payments to worry about, I am aware of adding an LSD and I'm completely ok with that.I was in the market for a speed 3 since I worked for Mazda as a tech but decided to keep the foci cuz of the payment issue. As of the car being old and having problems with it in the future, I'm not really worry about since I can do all the work my self.

The ST should be out late this year but yeah I might roll with stock internals + boosted, cosworh intake manifold and an LSD for now. If I go fully built I might have to wait like 3 more months to get my turbo.
