Which car manufacturer do you hate most?

Yeah I'd tend to agree here. I don't have a "hate" for any car company, but I suppose perhaps a dislike for some. Toyota, for the reasons mentioned (giving us the Prius, and taking away all the fun cars) stands out for me. But.. there is hope with the new Scion/Subaru coupes.

I guess I can understand all the Chrysler hate but historically speaking, they have been a pretty inventive company that actually innovated things we take for granted now. For example, the gear reduction starter motor. People who are old enough may remember the distinct sound and the jokes about it, but nearly every company now uses a similar type of starter. Or more recently, the stow 'n go seating in the minivans. Or for that matter, minivans! Yeah, yeah, VW Transporter and all that. The modern minivan is all Chrysler though.

I have slightly more to do in my life than hate a car company. I mean seriously, you actually think someone at Ford(or any other GIANT company worth billions) gives a flying rat turd whether you hate them or not?


Where I come from real enthusiasts appreciate automobiles, not brand names.

I have a grudge for chevy lol uumm im a ford guy haha. I wanted ti pick honda but the ricers and jdm freaks keep the cops/highway patrol busy so they don't notice the fofo hahahah so I guess that's good there's so many of them

Dodge and Chrysler are brands within the same manufacturing company, btw.

I picked Chrysler, simply because, the few I've owned (Rams and Jeeps) I thought were cheaply built/designed. Every company has a few bad apples, though.

Chrysler and GM for making snap-together fall-apart cheaply built crap. I wish they wouldn't get bailed out again. It might force them to actually build something worthwhile. Great looking vehicles until you get up close to it, or sit in it, or own it for more than 5 years. The amount of noise/vibration/harshness complaints with these vehicles is INSANE compared to Ford.

Hyundai and Kia for being the ripoff artists they are....and their cheaply built crap. Remember the old Kia "AAAYYYYYIIIEEEEEEEEEEE" commercials? I wish they would AAAYYYYIIIEEEEEEEE themselves right of a frickin' cliff. There is nothing worth fixing on a Korean car in 5 years. Once you bite the bullet and buy one, your only choice to avoid taking a huge financial bath is to keep trading your Hyundai or Kia in at another Hyndai or Kia dealer for a newer model. Everybody sees you and thinks "awww, isn't that precious? look at that, its trying to be a real car!"

Toyota and Honda for their bland transportation appliances. I used to love the accord and prelude. Where has that sexiness gone? Whenever I drive a Honda or Toyota these days, I have to check and see if my balls are still attached when I get out of the car. Toyota Corolla? looks bland like the bar of Irish Spring sitting in my shower.

Mazda for ruining the Mazda 3 with that cheezy smiley face. I would've considered a Mazda 3 if it wasn't for that.

I will also add Volvo....I hate them for being the car of choice in Twilight. Vampires don't need a safe car, they are already dead. But, I guess a vampire is over 1000 years old, which is how many years it would take before I ever owned one.
