Right now I have Castrol Full Synthetic 75-90w gear oil in mine. Works great, the factory actually calls for the "Ford Honey" full synthetic manual transmission fluid which I put in the MTX-75 in my other focus. Being that I was going to flush my tranny after replacing the broken bell housing on it and didn't want to spend 80 bucks (fill and drain twice) in tranny fluid so I tried the gear oil a local member recommended since he ran it in his with no problems. He used Mobile 1 75-90w gear oil I couldn't find that so I used the castrol.

I've used the RP syncromesh in my MTX-75, but switched to Ford Honey. Personally I think the Ford Honey is a little better.
