Fog light bezal

i think there are a lot of people wanting the Ti Black headlights, it really SUX that Ford couldn't pull their head out and black out the Sport Package. somebeotches lol.... Im hoping to yank out the Fog bezels soon and paint black, then save up for the Ti headlights on Ebay... 250-275 a set. Does anyone know the Jobber Cost for the headlights at the Dealer... not standard Cust price but dealer price.

From what I've read here. I'm gonna cover mine in carbon fiber di-noc vinyl. should look dope!

I sprayed my fogs with 5 coats...debris beat them up in a month. Now I need to repaint and this time CLEAR

honestly the easiest way to remove the fogs is:

1.remove headlights(2 screws, and remove harness )
2.find top tab of foglight bezel.(you will see a little chrome tab)

3.grab a hold of bezel with one hand
4.with other hand using a flathead screwdriver (or tool of choice) press down and toward the front of the car on the top clip
5.wiggle the bezel while performing step 4.

bezel should pop out with minimal effort.once you are done painting it just snaps back in.

no removing of the fog or guard needed

Does anyone have any suggestions on what do to with my chrome fog bezals on my 13' Tuxedo Black SE sedan? I had a great idea, and looks like Twenty did it too, is to black out the bezal except for the rim closest to the fog light. I really like it! My question is to people, do you all think I should paint it or vinyl it? If paint what color - matte black? And what do you all think about using carbon fiber vinyl for this job? It looks like a tricky surface curvature to work with.

One bezel was being stubborn and took probably 20 minutes to pop out. The other, took seconds. I don't know why it was putting up such a fight but it did.

Provided the bezels don't fight back like mine did, 30 minutes should be enough or even more than enough time.

Same but I think I was more worried about not scratching the paints or knicking anything. Once I had the feel needed for the jimmy motion it was easy. Ford gave me my resolve though. They wanted 143 to put them on.

hey do you mean that you put carbon fiber vinyl on your fog lamp bezals? Or do you mean on the headlights on the inside? Can you specify plz? ALso, was it difficult? thx.
PS: plz post pics? I really love the frosted glass color and I want to see yours! thx

Im fairly certain Twenty has the ti fog light surrounds that he got from ford. If the tabs on the bezels are pushed from behind the bumper there is almost no way to scratch paint. If you paint yours clear them or accept that rock chips will happen. The ti ones are fairly inexpensive, if you like them they would be the most durable
