It's simply a lack of respect for someone else's property. And there is no excuse for it.

And yes, it should of been right in the first place so we wouldn't have to go through this on a brand new car.
I think the glue problem was an early production problem that Ford has fixed since then. My car is a late Aug model and is fine (so far). I expect the early models would have numerous issues as the production line gets tweaked for such issues as glue, MFT, panel alignment, etc. That does NOT excuse them, but warranty is there for that reason. Later models benefit from all the adjustments made during initial runs. That is Always the danger of new model intro of ANY car maker.
Your Dealer on the other hand did a crap job to your car and should replace all the pieces they damaged on your car. They are supposed to be certified to work on your car and are accountable for services rendered. They get paid to perform the warranty repairs. You can't blame Ford for a dealers actions.
Sorry you have those issues but eventually those will be sorted out and you will enjoy your car for a long time without further problems.

We had 3-4 issues of stains where I work, they changed their headliner. Seems to be fixed on newer stocks.

I purchased my car from Al Piemonte Ford as well!

When I had my headliner stain, I took it to Ron Hopkins because it was much closer. So far I'm pleased with Ron Hopkins, they ordered me a new headliner (after I showed the service manager those before and after pictures) but told me that it [the new headliner] had some creases and so they ordered yet another one!

Granted, it should have been done correctly the first time, I'm happy that they're paying attention to the little details and making sure it's good before they give it back.

Took mine to the dealership I bought it at on Friday and showed the samelsman and the service manager. Ford's tech line was down for half the day so they said it would probably be Monday before they could get me an answer. Also asked about some kind of transmission flash update and they were going to check on that to. I'll post what results I get. I had 4-5 stains around edges throughout the car. They almost look like rust in a way.

Great. :>(
About how long after you folks took delivery did the stains appear? My build date is 07/2011 and I took delivery on 08/10/2011. I did not notice any stains yet, to be honest I had never really looked that close but I sure will be now.

You're probably fine. I had a May build car, I think the stain was always there, I just didn't know to look for it until someone else pointed it out (it was basically right above and behind my head). No reason I'd ever need to look there.

Do any of you remember the one season show, "Greg the Bunny" with Seth Green? Great episode during the season called (appropriately enough) "Piddler on the Roof". One of the shows puppet characters gets royally drunk, and then ticked off at one of the human characters, then uses the human character's open car sun roof for "other than it's intended purpose". With all the talk of "yellow stains" in this thread............it's the first thing I thought of. Hope this helps!
