You have to use the proper angle cut tips or it doesn't look right. FYI
I did a single exit driver side. First tip was straight. I replaced it with a 50% cut. I did it myself.

No problems w/ the hot exhaust pipe touching (or almost) the plastic 'defuser'? |

Just did mine with the thrush welded muffler and same, quiet in the car. Looks great though and that's what matters. Think I might remove muffler #1 though. Is the CAT in the DP in our cars?

Yea I had that muffler removed. It was really quiet, and quite frankly, still is with just the one resonator in the back by the rear axle. I'm just going to have that removed also. Id like to hear it a bit

advice needed pls....
im attaching a twin tip exhaust on my car as i don't wanna go thru all the bother and expense of redoing the exhaust system for real dual exhaust look. I see there is a bracket supporting the black part of the bumper valance.... has anyone had to deal w/ this bracket and if so, how'd u deal w/ it... I'm afraid it may get in the way of the twin tip exhaust may yes, there is a bracket.. I installed a dual tipped exhaust to the stock muffler ... i cut off the tailpipe after it curved coming out of themuffler and welded the tip on... no other things needed... i also cut out a section of the valance w/ a knife (soft plastic) so the tip looked more stock and nested into the bumper better . the tip comes very close to the valance bracket but does not touch it....you should be fine. Your just adding a clamp on dual tip? If so, get the staggered style tips. Also a muffler shop may have to bend/add to your existing pipe to fit properly. Making sure the tip clears that bracket you're talking about. Are you cutting out a section for the tip?
