So what intake manifold are you going to use? Escape 23 or Foci 23 or your stock one or the Cossie?

was thinking custom. either have one built with ceneter inlet for tb & 12 inch equal length runners or the gsxr 750 tb mod

So can't the tuner turn off the cps on your '08+ car's so that you can run bigger cam's? That would be something I'd be trying to figure out?

randy is tuning mine he tols me thats the only thing limiting me is that but im not far off from a 2.3 just need to get the rods the block and do it all over again but i think ill be fine. after a get to be ballin again i might do a 2.3 block and everything just to see the difference. i knoa massive said they found a way to press off the ring and put it on the crower cams.(dont think u can and be 100% accurate) but that might be feesabel once its out there long enough and all the bugs are worked out. i got plently of stock cams thats for sure. need to get rid of these extra engines and stuff baby needs his whole room back. lol.

I have been reading this thread and I am a little worried because I just bought the Crower stage 1 cams for my 2.0. I saw a question about the cps and the cams I bought have something on the end of one cam but it isn't the same as the cams I took out. Is there a big differance between the 08+ 2.0s and the older 2.3s? If so I guess I will have to put the stock cams back in for now and build up something on the side. That might not be a bad I dea anyway but I want to be sure before I take it all back apart again. I am trying to get my car up and running again by the end of next month. It has been sitting in my garage for over a year and I am tired of just looking at it. I want to drive my car again.

yes big difference.. now your exhaust cam will work no issues... however..... the intake have that nice press on fitted machined ring that has to be 100% perfect... u can try it but i highly dont reccommend it at all... u can try to ask 1turbofocus (tom) about what he can do to tune it...... that might be worth it for ya.... either way.... ill just stick to stock cams till someone actually gets some data on the pressed ring 08+ cars....

If that is the case then I will just stay with the stock cams. I don't know how long I will be keeping this car anyway. They are new never used cams so I'm thinking they will be up for sale here in the next couple of days. I just want to drive my car again. The sooner I can do that the happier I will be.
