If you know whats you are doing or have someone who can build you one its much cheaper.

I have about $30 into my 2.5" mandrel orp, its not stainless or anything but it worked good for me.

I build my own 3 bolt flange and added my own reinforcements to make it stronger

Voted for Tom's tune. Hes always been there to answer my questions on the phone an email. One time we were even working on getting my datalog to not freeze at 11pm(yes were in the same time zone). Hes also done a lot to help with the focus community, hes not just about selling you things. I look forward to finishing my tune soon!!

1TURBOFOCUS Tom gets my Vote.

My 01 Se sedan's SPI motor shit the bed and that's when it all started. I found out about the SPI to Zetec swap and gathered my parts. I had it done in about 16 hours with a friends help. Junk yard motor with 70K on it ran perfect from day 1 of install. Then I found out about all the things you can do with this Zetec engine. Installed KN Typhoon, Installed 4-2-1 header (no cat), installed MSD coil massive wires and some Accel silver plugs. Deleted rear O2 and Deleted EGR from the car. Installed AEM wide band. I couldn't believe the performance increase I got from all that stuff. The engine seemed to roar and the increase in power was very noticeable.

Then the Tune. I read a lot of good things about Tom and he even answered some questions while I was going through the swap. Very informative and nice guy. I installed Tom's first (base) tune last night and all I can say is WOW! The car idles better and has much more power. I didn't know what to expect from a tune since this is all new to me, and I was amazed. The car knocks you back in your seat when it hits 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd. It's like my car just snorted a big line of Coke! And now its WIRED! (drugs are bad, um-kay). The tune was the best 400 bucks I spent on my car so far. You wont regret it.

I vote Tom. Tom knows what he is doing when it comes to this stuff. Give your business and support to someone that is here on the Forums helping every one out. Without Tom and this forum and the advice and knowledge of its members, I would never be where I am at with my Focus.

Thanks FF and Tom!

I just completed my tuning with Tom for my turbo. I don't think you could get any better service or quality of tune from anyone else. When I send Tom a datalog he needs, he emails a new tune back the next day or even the same day. He has even sent me new tunes on Saturday and Sunday which really shortened the tuning process. Tom set up my laptop by remote and walked me through the process of how to datalog, which made it super easy to log. I am running 80lb injectors on a stock engine, boosting 10psi and it idles smooth and pulls like a freight train. The other benefits like no charge for tuning future mods or reading datalogs if you have future performance problems is icing on the cake. We are so lucky to have great focus tuners on our forum.

The suspense is killing me! I just got all my mods in the mail the other day but have to wait until next week to install them (waiting for my bro to be available to help me with the install) and then after that, I'll get Tom's tune! I can't wait. I can't wait to hear and feel the difference! Judging by comments made above, it sounds like my car will pull like a beast and open up and start feeling like a true race car.

I can't wait to see if I'll finally be able to put my brother's GSR down in a 1/4 race. The realist and pessimist in me says no, still probably not, but the optimist in me says I'm going to give him and everyone else quite a shock and get the job done. We'll see. If not, fine. I'll be happy that my car performs like a whole new beast. But if I do end up taking him out, then I'll be floating on cloud 9, because no one in his group has been able to take him down yet. There are faster cars around, but of the races he's participated in, he hasn't lost yet. And he's be up against some nasty rice.

I guess the moral to the story is, I can't wait to get everything installed and get my tune! I want my car to start turning heads.

Tom's tune for the win!!! Like its said in the front, i'll talk about the tune and the tuning process. The tune is awesome! I feel like my car was brought to life. Its so fun to drive and i have peace of mind knowing the engine is on the safe side. About the tuning process, i learned a lot because tom is so knowledgeable about the subject. He catches right away if there's something wrong w the car, something to be changed, or tightened up. He makes very good recommendations as well. With all these experiences with tuning the car, i know i can def put my trust on tom. If you go with his tune, you will never regret it.
