Yes it might since you might have been tuned to an HD sub channel and then the next morning the radio is only able to receive the primary, non HD, frequency, for instance. Since some HD subchannels are just different stations, this could result in the experience you describe.

As long as it does not switch to spice radio or some thing .... and my wife gets int he car ...

But I will check .. but I assume it would jump to another preset and not some random station

I have the same problem. It just seems to find random radio stations that I don't even listen to. I really don't listen to the radio anyway, so I don't have any presets set and none of the stations are the presets.

Another thought--and I can't test or confirm or deny since I'm still waiting delivery--was it on one of the AST presets when you shut it down?

Ok curiosity question here, What would cause the Sync to keep losing the pairing of a phone? We set up my wifes phone as Primary as she drives the car 99% of the time and everytime she gets a call in the car the car gets dumb and decides not to pair up and therefore it does not work.

buying cell phone to pair

Has anyone had success pairing a T Mobile Optimus Titanium ? It is on the the Ford list as a tested phone but I have read on line of some people having problems.

It amazes me that I have to settle for certain Bluetooth phones to work in my car. I called the Sync help desk and they seem as confused as I am. I love the car but this is almost comical. Bluetooth pairing seems like an after thought to Ford.

Currently having issues with Sync and my 1st gen iPod touch, and I'm not sure why they're coming about now when it's been absolutely fine for the past month.

The system is telling me USB not connected when I pull the paddle and ask for the USB connection to my iPod. It's not an indexing problem either, I've used the Syncmyitunes app, and I know the response when the system is indexing.

I'm going to see if I can find my second iPod cable; hopefully it's just a bad connection.

Functionally, SYNC has worked fine.

However, from a design & user interface perspective, it is terrible. I'm going to start documenting my issues with it, and hopefully reach the development team at some point.

Here's a very quick mockup of some improvements to the USB screen.

I think the reason there's wasted space is that the same Sync system powers MyFord as well as the two line displays in cars like the Fusion.

I wish the SO and AR-titled tags were simply not there. Just show the title and artist!
