because if I wanted to use normal paint I would have had to finish sanding and preping all that shit I didn't really wanna do and was hence why they hadn't been finished yet.

Plasti-dip prep = wash. So I did.


I'd excpect timmeh to respond to me like this for somereason lol

So...........you decided doing prep work wasn't worth the time and hassle so you went through the time and hassle to tear them apart then did the same thing again to put them all back together, mount them on the car, and run them......just to burn the plastidip out of the headlights so that you can do the whole thing over again along with the added time of doing real prep work?

got it lol.

also now it makes sense why you dont want to prep valve covers.

No. The idea of the plasti-dip not standing up to the heat didn't even cross my mind until I posted pics of them in the plasti-dip thread and somebody mad the comment.

If I had thought of that before they were sealed up then I would have done something different.

I probably will end up stripping the valve covers over the course of the winter its just not going to be a one sitting job as I had through previous

Get all the military paint colors.. and we go digi camo

Klod, you know aku.is lazy and likes to half ass stuff. He had MONTHS to finish sanding and half preping them and they woulda been painted long ago. But he is teh lazy.

Lazy yes and I forgot about them for a good long while too lol.

w/e if I have to pull them apart again then its a my bad. however if they don't melt then I just did an experiment for everybody and people everywhere will do the same thing!
