When you add a Short Ram, do you typically need a tune? Where is a good place to take it to get tuned, and how much does it cost? What's involved in tuning it?

Heeeeelp!

Ok I dont know ANYTHING about cars. Nothing. Like I seriously poured the oil down the dipstick hole when refilling the oil after draning the pan and changing the filter because it said "Engine Oil" on it, took about an hour.

Anyways I read this enire post and I think I bought the right intake.

I have an 07 Focus with the "Lifetime" air filter on it I figure with about 140,000 miles on it and going from about 385 miles per tank to about 270 its time to get rid of it. The one i just ordered was this one.

http://fswerks.com/fswerks_coolflo_air_intake.htm

It will fit right? I did good?

Link doesnt work^

Anyone know if they make (or if you can somehow install) a shield or something to protect a CAI from splashing water, etc? (without affecting it's intake capabilities) I want to get a CAI, but I don't want to have to worry about water.

K&N make a similar one that has a uniform 2.5" size from filter to throttle body that I personally chose over the fswerks one. It's also aluminum, so it'll never rust.

Don't understand why the neck down into the MAF part and then back up to the size for the throttle body makes any sense. K&N also make a plastic one that has the neck up and down for the MAF location but the transitions are smoother and I would also choose it over the fswerks one.

Any opinions on which CAI is superior between:

K&N Typhoon:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/200653520339...2649#vi-ilComp

K&N 57 Series:
http://www.amazon.com/57-0595-High-P...ar=1&carId=001

(Why does the 57 series on Amazon (at the top of the screen) say it DOESNT fit the 2006 Ford Focus, yet, under "Product Features" it says it DOES???)

Otherwise, does anyone have any opinions on, or know anything about how the AEM Dual Chamber Intake works on a Ford Focus? Good? Not so good? Better than a traditional Cold Air Intake?

I just put one of these on my 06 ZX4 SES PZEV.
Bolts on like the directions state.
I had 2 hoses that needed to be connected to the intake, only connected one, plugged the other. See the pictures in my album.
I have a little over 300 miles on it after the install, popped a code but it was for my battery. The car has 145K+ on it.
