Took me forever but I finally made it to the last page......

Took a while but it was worth it!

Has anyone plastidip 2012 SEL 17" Aluminum wheels?

Or

Those of you that have sprayed your wheels with a lot of spokes, was it hard to get all of the spokes?

Well from my experience, the stuff is pretty easy to work with and you can do a set in one day with not too much effort. Just make sure you spray from many angles and you should be fine after 4-5 coats.

He did his 15-spokes and no mention of it being difficult

Best part is, its reversible. So test on one rim first and see how you like it and if the multiple spokes end up causing you any issues. Worst case scenario is you are out $6.00 for the spray can.

It's really easy. Like he said though, do multiple coats with lots of spokes. I only did one coat on mine and I'm going to have to redo them soon because of it. Just make sure you've hit all around the rims.

Dipped the bottom part of the center console. Too much silver for my liking inside. Has anybody found and or tried any red plastidip? I would like to get the chrome part of the shifter red. And just ignore the mess, off tomorrow so a full wash a cleaning is in the works tomorrow. lol

That would be pretty sick. Shouldn't be hard to do. Just mask it off and spray that ish!

The Plastidip on my wheels is starting to chip off the lip of my rims. I was surprised it lasted the few months that it did. lol We will see what the snow and salt does to it soon.

Oh and I have been seeing alot of people use Plastidip for their interior pieces. Fusion plastic spray paint works great (if you are going for the color being permanent.) lol Just clean the surface and spray is all I did for both of the cars I have done it to. Heck i guess I had better put pictures.

Alot of you probably wont like the taste, but you get the picture from the photos. I did this back in April, and there has been no scrapes.
