not just yet. havent been able to get the time to have it looked at yet. im gonna take it to a buddy of mine tomorrow and see what he can do by ways of installing it. ive looked at mine and the way the hazard/lock buttons are/should be in the factory dash kit is that its just clipped in from the back. should be able to remove it and reuse it

I ordered a separate switch from the UK. My dash kit didn't come with one. It doesn't seem like it comes apart from the factory radio.

eagerly waiting to hear how you folks fare. I just bought a 12 SE model specifically with the base radio so I could tear it out and install a double din navi deck. (i have an Avic D3 from my old truck that can go in)

I just purchased a Focus 2012 S a few weeks ago. I had no idea that this was possible since the way the console is designed, just did a random google search. Originally, I was going to buy a bluetooth adapter. However, if I can replace the stereo and add bluetooth capability while also keeping the same appearance...I'll go that route. I also noticed that there is a Focus 2012 cruise control kit, which I would probably add on too.

I have no automotive skills, but good at following instruction manuals. The cruise control I'd probably leave to a mechanic...how easy/hard is it to install? Do you void the warranty by doing this? Looking forward to see what people come up with.

heads up everyone. if you get the kit from avc or whatever that company is. be prepared to spend at least 5 hours figuring it out. if you order the one with the stalk adapter... it doesnt work with the 12 focus. big waste of money there. you will loose steering wheel controls on the right side of the steering wheel. no big deal to me. biggest problem is... YOU WILL LOOSE THE LOCK/UNLOCK AND HAZARD SWITCH POSSIBLY FOR GOOD!!! im gonna do some more research and see if the kit from that first few posts will work and give you the functions of those switches back. but i did get my double din installed and everything is working the way its supposed to be and you can still unlock/lock the car with the factory fob. and to be honest.. i never use hazards anyways so no big loss there besides the 3 inch hole in the dash kit which i will get filled asap with something
