Good luck! Looking forward to the pics.

Just curious. What are you planning on doing about the doorlock/hazard buttons? And also, removal of the stock radio prevents correction of the "date" in the upper display (need the arrow keys and "ok" button). Did you come up with any solution for that?

This. The entire reason for going aftermarket is because of constant negative reviews about MFT from both car magazines and this forum.

In my opinion it would be best to get a simple aftermarket HU without navigation but with bluetooth, and use a portable GPS unit/and or mobile phone for GPS.

Just received my ACV double din fascia kit to replace my base radio with a kenwood NAV unit. I am a bit worried about the wiring harness included from ACV to integrate the stalk and kenwood unit. It doesn't seem like it will work. I probably will have to do some modification but I am a bit concerned I will void a warranty if I make this change.

Any luck with your install? I am hoping to figure out how to adapt the iso connector to my 22 pin Kenwood radio harness.

My double din has a date. But I think the kit comes with a way to fix it from the steering wheels controls. But it will be tomorrow before I get it installed. I just got it yesterday late in the evening and will be tomorrow before I get a chance to take it somewhere. And the switch just pops in and out from what it looks like
