We don't have a big problem with snow or even much rain here in Tucson. This is my $15 solution from Costco. Fronts go in with no trimming and just a little for the back. The cells are deeper than they look. Enough to catch any run off from around here.

[QUOTE=2012silversel;3732005]I got my Husky floor mats today. They fit great and cover really well. There aren't as thick as I thought they would be, but they feel very durable. The rubber is flexible and easy to install. Don't get me wrong, Weathertechs are a good product, but the Weathertechs I had in my Fusion weren't flexible at all and I had a hard time removing them in winter without spilling the melted snow. I think the flexibility of the Husky's will allow me to bend them into a U shape to contain the water. Here are some pics of them installed in My car.
The Huskyliner mats have a lifetime warranty, if you're worried about the mats' thickness.

I just bought a Husky Weather Beater set - floor and trunk mats - for $167 US, delivered from Alabama to California. Looking forward to getting them and keeping all the stuff up hear in the mountains from eating into my carpet. I mile of dirt road and a gravel driveway can do wonders TO a carpet.

Thanks for the info! Although i have the Ford winter mats, was concerned about the dead pedal area and the general ability of the mats to contain the water within the mat area. Was a real struggle between these and the WeatherTech, the dead pedal coverage won me over. |

Ditto for Santa Barbara. I wanted the Husky's, but I wanted to save the $85 bucks too for the roof rack! |

I've been thinking about getting the liners... Husky or WeatherTech... off and on.
Part of me thinks wow that would really catch all the snow and water in the Winter. Part of me thinks wow then my pants would soak up the water instead of my carpet doing it for me. Isn't the original carpet meant to get wet? Part of me thinks it looks like plastic covers on a couch... taking away the joy of ownership and the carpet then lasts longer than the car. Not sure which part will win. |
