thanks, its real easy to do. i also had a rust spot below one of these so i got that part too. its not as good as grinding rust,priming,paint clear etc but its far better than just seeing rust. from a few feet you don't realize theres rust there.

The rust will continue to erode the metal underneath that plastidip unless you treat it and not just cover it up.

You should coat it with something like this if you do not want to sand it down: http://www.autozone.com/autozone/acc...er=660017_0_0_

and then after that cures for 3 days you can paint it with whatever you want.

i just wanted to hide the rust to make the car look better. the price im selling the car in a few weeks they arent going to care about the rust issue.

I jut got done plastidipping my hood. Heres the results. I drove in the rain already.

the hood was charcoal grey, along with the fender, and im just repainting and making it match. The red paint is not done yet.
