That sounds like it would work too. I am sure the original poster has enough info to get it figured out now.

Gets more V8

I don't care who says what, not my problem
I don't have any experience with tuning or data logging etc, so I wasn't sure if we were on the same page but sounds like we are... just with a different idea of finding WOT.

^Visually seeing WOT at the TB does not mean the ECU sees WOT.
Let's say the TPS isn't working, so no signal of throttle position is being sent to the ECU. Then the ECU has to rely on the MAF to find WOT, which won't be the same feeling as it would with a working TPS. The TP counts would show if the TPS was working or not. So you look at it and the other things I mentioned to make sure the ECU is seeing WOT. Tom, How am I to know who is and isn't a customer of yours? I simply provided an answer to a question in the thread in which it was asked, which you did not. |

I still dont know what im doing.
I need to log a few runs but i dont want to get a ticket doing 90 in a 65. What i want to do is some how put on the logger which ever field that shows the throttle position or what ever WOT is. Im driving with my hands so its hard to tell how far im pushing the pedal. Ide prefer to just tap into WOT the lowest RPM i can go to i guess is what im trying to do. If i dont need to get 7000rpm to log a WOT run ide really like to do that. Does a certin RPM in third get WOT?

Just log your open loop/closed loop through the software.
At WOT it'll be in open loop.

WOT is set by the TPS and in most cases about 550 counts but there is a big diff between telling the ECU your in WOT and going to WOT fuel (base fuel tables) if your not going to be in the WOT whch only means Wide Open Throlttle then we dont have to do a WOT tuning , if your going to be using WOT then we are going to have to do WOT tuning 3rd gear to 6500
Tom
