Good point.. I just went out to the car and tried it again. I locked the car, then opened the trunk, threw the keys in the middle of the trunk and shut it. The trunk popped open. Would not stay shut until I removed the keys. Try locking the car first then putting the keys in the trunk and see if it will stay shut. It wouldn't for me.

ok. was tricky but i got it to work. got out of car. popped trunk button, pressed lock button. threw key fob in trunk. closed trunk. it popped open. nice feature.

i've tested trying to lock the keys in the car by touching the black spot on the door. wouldn't lock. haven't tried with the second fob, but it would be hard to lock yourself out if you already had the 2nd fob in your hand.

Wow, the more I hear about the Titanium the more jealous I get of it's features Maybe I should have just gotten a fully loaded Fiesta since I didn't have the money to up the trim from SE. ...Features though... When you use the manual key hole instead of the remote it starts a countdown timer in which you have to insert the key into the ignition or the security alarm goes off. Brilliant way to stop people from picking the ignition locks. Also, my salesman was clueless as to what the car was equipped with so I figured everything out on my own. At one point when he showed me a 2012 next to a 2011 and told me the new one had a V6 I completely stopped paying attention to him and let the car do the talking.

He was very pleasant and was never pushy but yeah when it came to cars he was completely at a loss.

First sales rep showed me the ropes with sync and MFT, then I just went online and learned everything I was curious about. Some salespeople are just so bad. I asked if the guy was good with technology, cause the last guy was like 80 and couldn't figure out the sirius in the non MFT model, which I had no experience with either. Anyway the sales guy said he sold technology for 25 years before he came to ford, he then proceeded to confuse megabyte and gigabyte 3-4 times even though I corrected him. (Refering to USB sizes and indexing time) "64 megabyte is so big it takes a while to index"

My experience with most car sales people is that they are first in foremost 'sales people'. Even if they get to know the product (as they should), you can still tell if they're just sales people or enthusiasts too.

Always good to ask them questions and judge their reactions, even if you already know the answer. If they don't know the answer or try to bullshit you, move along, if they consult another sales rep and try to find you an answer continue the deal.

As a former enthusiast-salesman, we got TONS of product training, so much so that it would be easy for a non-car guy/gal to get confused. I wouldn't write off a salesperson just because they didn't know as much as I did, unless it seems that they're being internationally misleading.
