Another lighting mod..

Always wondered why they put a cool white in the license plate bulb, but not the mirrors.. so a quick change...ordered them from superbrightleds.com, 194 wedge type bulbs

YES THE BUGS ARE CLEANED OFF NOW...

Yea push the mirror to the inside, and it is easy to grab the rubber grommet holding the bulb in...


I burned my fingers taking the stock bulb out, and tried the same with the led, and after 10 minutes, there was no heat at all.

Great idea ... this will be one of my first mods. Sorry about your fingers with the incadescent bulb, but glad to hear about the "coolness' of the LED!

Question

firestoned...are the new puddle lamps brighter/whiter than the stock license plate bulb? If so I'm gonna go ahead & replace those too

these replacements are a little brighter than the license plate bulb IMO.. from a quick glance, they look the same tho

I just installed some "Cool White" LED's in my puddle lamps too. They look really good...subtle, but big difference. I also found out that the license plate LED is not a 194 wedge. Can anybody help identify these?
