Yeah I'm inclined to agree - was just trying to understand the details.
I ordered a fully loaded Titanium (5 year loan as well) so I'm definitely looking into this. I'm curious how much the price goes up as you approach the the 3/36,000 limit? Or does it remain the same (other than general inflation)? If that's the case, I'm not sure why one would buy it right away for this car. The 2012 focus already come with roadside assistance, etc., so I'm not sure what the advantage would be in getting it when you purchase the vehicle? |

The earlier you get it,newer the car, the cheaper it is. I got an online price and when my car comes in I know what to tell the dealer I want it for. The advantage is you can roll the cost in with the car financing. If you buy it online later, you have to pay the entire cost when you buy it.

Yes I bought the premium care, I agree that with all the tech in these cars it really is short sighted not to

I'll play around with purchase dates on some of the online quotes to see if the price increases. One reason to purchase Ford ESP early is for the first day rental which not all dealers throw in.

No. Extended warranties of any kind pay off so rarely that it's almost always a bad deal.

Just to add another site to compare prices.
http://andersonandkoch-ford-warranty.com/ I will be getting it also. I plan on having the car a long time and I drive about 30k a year. I just did a comparison from both sites. $50 deductable 10miles starting start warrenty now 7yrs / 125k PremiumCare Ziegler - $1400 AndersonandKoch - $1535 anyone know if a rental is included? |

If it's Ford PremiumCARE rentals ARE included, you'll be given a set of wheels if you ever need it.
Keelhaul, that's a very true statistic however in terms of our Foci with MFT or SYNC... all it takes is one of the modules or the APIM to lose it after our bumper to bumper is up, and then that $1500 is probably going to be worth it. This car is so tech heavy that I can't see a reason not to... I wouldn't be going for 7 years just 5 for me, but even still. |
