Closed loop knock sensor?

Never noticed until last night, in closed loop the knock sensor cycles from 0 up to ~2, down to 1 and up to 10 (I have it set set the KS can add or pull 10*, 20 total -10 to +10) over the course of about 5 seconds then repeats.
Actual timing didn't change though.

Just thought that was odd and wondering if it's normal, or does it indicate some type of problem?

Would have to see the log but it isnt odd at all for the KS to be all over the place and you correct those spots by adding or taking out timing to even up the knock either +/-

Eh, guess timing was following the KS. Was just tough to find the correct spot.

And I'd picked the timing I want based on the injector PW. Notice how my chosen #'s give the lowest PW and lowest load?
That's what I was going for to yield good economy.
Adaptive is off.
And I highly doubt it's actually knocking being I'm on E-85.

Maybe KS is too sensitive?

There's a "Knock Sensor Min Load" and it's set to 0.359. Seems that the timing I'm commanding is below that and as soon as it rises above that it starts hunting.
So raising the load should help, right?

I am going to stay out of this one , I am not sure where you got all this tuning stuff from but in my opinion your going to the barn , running around the barn 5 times as hard as you can then going in , wouldnt it be easier to just go to the barn and walk in

Sorry thats the nicest way I can say it
