F/S: Ford Focus kick panel speaker pods 2000-2004

Up for sale are custom made 2000-2004 Ford Focus kick panel Speaker Pods. $210 shipped (PRICE REDUCE). I've sold the car, so now I have no more use for these speaker pods. Solid in craftsmanship, no ringing or vibrating noises. You can use either mid or mid-bass speakers in the enclosures which have been constructed and designed to hold .2 cu ft of air volume. Deflex pads and polyfill are in each enclosure. During construction, I took careful consideration of the equal speaker orientations and optimum equal length path lengths (dome light).

A variety of tweeters can be used because of the tweeter plates, which comes with the kit (middle picture). Also I designed the speaker pods to be mounted to existing foot-well kick panel screw post. All mounting bolts and washers parts are provided in this kit. There is NO drilling needed. Also the pods are wired with 12 gauge. The input leads use male and connectors for quick install and removal. If needed, we can talk via phone and go over the how-to- install particulars. FYI, the tweeter covers and speaker pods have been painted the same color (medium grey).

If you're really a true car audio enthusiast and looking for ultimate sound quality, these speaker pods may be the one. You can easily spend 2/3 more at a reputable car audio shop of similar quality and level of attention. Note: There will be some lost to driver's left foot room, but there's a small concave foot space to help recover the lost foot room. $210 shipped (PRICE REDUCE)

Humm, well the company that you mention is pure CRAP on a comparison. And I tell you why:
  • These are fully fiberglass closed on the back side. Where the other company is not, and vibration prone.
  • Resin coated in the interior. ZERO air leaks
  • Each weigh at least 5-7 pounds each
  • Flanges can hold up to 7.25 inch diameter speakers while the other company can only manage 6-6.5 in diameter.
  • The wall thickness of the company is 1/8 thin ABS, while mine is minimum 1/4 to 1/2 thick -it stout.

I hope this helps illustrate the difference. There's a Timex, and then there's a Rolex. Which one would you prefer to own? I say this with confidence of knowing the difference between mine and other manufactures. Thanks for pointing it out though.

Thanks, both tweeters are from Seas of Norway. 25TAC/D-H535 (home audio) and RT25F (car audio), both are incredible smooth.

Manuals where not considered and probably would not be good fit. I had a auto; hence a custom in application.
