I can remember being a small child in the early 1980's and thinking the Z28 was possibly the coolest car I had ever seen. I distinctly remember ERTL sold a diecast model that had the same tape stripes on the bottom like that... probably better that my parents didn't get it for me, as I would have eventually crushed it under a heavy rock.
