I just wish it was a "6" speed, Ford is a little behind the game on this one.

I love my 2 door 5 speed - I've already put ~20K miles on this car since March and loving every one of them. I'm easily getting 35-36MPG cruising at 75-85mph ~100 miles a day :)

2010 foci with a 5spd 2dr with transmission problems :( this would mark twice I've had trans problems but its my own fault because I'm a little rough with things but it comes and goes I think I also broke my motor mount driver side

WOW! kinda hard to bust a manual transmission!. You must be banging it around a lot!. I picked a 5 speed as I figured the only thing that would break would be the clutch. What do you do to that poor thing?

At least you know its your fault but wth are you doing to break it? It's not stock I assume

I toasted my pass side motor mount right away - my 3L Contour SVT has the same MTX75 in it and, well, yeah - some power shifting is hard to avoid :)

Nothing like rolling posi burnouts in 1st and laying another 25 feet of rubbed banging second... with blizzaks

No, the man is still a 5speed. The new "auto" is a 6speed.

I've missed third a few times by accident power shiftinf it I didn't have the clutch in enough
