Manual trans in 08-11
I keep talking with people and apparently the manual trans in the 2nd gens are quite rare...

How many of you have a manual 5 speed in your 2nd gen? I wants to know. I has it.

It's not that common on the early models ether. Majority of foci have auto's. We are the few, the proud, the manual lovers lol.

I got one, when I bought mine it was the only one in Vegas.

Ever since I drove my 94 Ford Escort, I've been addicted to driving manual. I refuse to own a car that is an automatic transmission. I feel lazy, and that I'm not paying enough attention to the road, the car, and the experience. I also don't let anyone else drive my car, so I have no qualms with putting in a special shifter knob :)

If I had bought my own car I would have chosen manual....I hate this stupid 4spd. However, gramps is not a fan of replacing clutches apparently. Can't say I mind in the LA traffic though ;).

found the only one in my dealership. they didn't even know they had one. manual is the way to go
